InsureVault helps business owners document and manage their physical assets (equipment, furniture, electronics, vehicles, and more) with photos, descriptions, valuations, receipts, warranties, barcode/QR scanning, maintenance logs, and warranty alerts — making insurance claims fast and professional.

1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide the core features of the App:
Account & Business Information
When you create a business profile or account, we collect your business name, insurance policy number, insurer details, contact information, and login credentials (such as email address).
Asset & Inventory Data (User Content)
Photos and images of assets (via camera or photo library), descriptions, estimated values, receipts, warranty documents, maintenance logs, barcode/QR code scans, notes, and any reports you generate. This is the primary content you create and store in the App.
Device & Usage Information
Device type, operating system version, IP address, app version, crash reports, and anonymous analytics data to help us improve performance and fix bugs.
Permissions Accessed
The App requires access to your device's camera and photo library to let you photograph assets and upload documents. We do not collect precise geolocation data unless you voluntarily add it to an asset note.
Data Storage: Because InsureVault is built on Base44, your account data, business profiles, and asset information (including uploaded photos and documents) are stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Base44 and its backend partners. All data is encrypted in transit.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:

- •Allow you to upload, view, edit, organize, and search your assets and documents.
- •Generate professional PDF or spreadsheet reports for insurance claims.

3. How We Share Information
- •We do not sell your personal information or business asset data.
- •We may share your data with trusted service providers (Base44's hosting and backend infrastructure, cloud storage providers, and tools used for PDF generation or notifications) only as necessary to operate the App.
- •We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition).
4. Data Security
We take reasonable security measures, including encryption of data in transit and industry-standard protections provided by the Base44 platform. However, no system is 100% secure. Because your asset photos and documents may contain sensitive business information, we strongly recommend securing your device with a PIN, password, or biometric lock.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual assets, documents, or your entire business profile directly from within the App.
